Chris Tarrant, a British television and radio presenter known for his appearances on popular TV shows such as “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” and “Tarrant on TV,” is not only a media industry host, but also a man with varied interests. One of those interests is numismatics, the art of coin collecting, which has brought new aspects of culture, history and finance into his life.
Like many other numismatists, Chris Tarrant’s fascination with coins began in childhood. His first steps into the world of numismatics coincided with the discovery of an antique denarius in the basement of his grandmother’s home. This chance find was the starting point of his journey through history, which continues to this day.
