Chinese company Xiaomi has planned to release the first smartphone folding. This is reported by the publication MySmartPrice.
The device, the development of which insiders reported in the summer, will have the form factor of a shell and visually resemble the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. The device, called Mix Flip, has received certification from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), and the documents mention support for satellite communication.
According to journalists, this option will allow the mobile phone to connect to satellites in low Earth orbit if there is no mobile phone connection. In addition, the flip phone is expected to receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a triple camera with triple optical zoom and the latest version of Android.
