Britain has tested the new Ajax combat vehicle with a cold test

The Ajax is based on the ASCOD 2 BMP, developed by Austria’s Steyr-Daimler-Puch and Spain’s Santa Barbara Sistemas. The British version of the vehicle received a two-seat turret with a 40 millimetre cannon, reinforced protection and a new 805 horsepower powerplant.
