Japan has allowed power generation by the SLIM module

On 19 January, SLIM made a soft landing on the surface of the moon. At that time, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency admitted that the module could have landed on its side, causing it to experience power problems.

The H-IIA rocket carrying the module was launched from the Tanegashima Cosmodrome in the southwestern prefecture of Kagoshima on 7 September last year.
