Researchers have found a link between schoolchildren’s grades and their parents

Scientists suggested that the situation is influenced by both the genetic component of intelligence and the formation of an intellectual environment at home. At the same time it turned out that the quality of teaching plays the smallest role in this issue.

In preparing the analysis, representatives of the Norwegian Business School relied on data from 600,000 schoolchildren from 79 countries participating in the global study PISA of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
