The series “House of the Dragon”: what is known about the second season

Kriston Kohl (Fabien Frankel) – An accomplished swordsman from the Dornish Marcs and former lover of Princess Rhaenyra. After a quarrel with the princess, he defects to Alicenta’s side and becomes key among the Greens.
Aegon Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) is the first son of Alicenta Hightower and King Viserys, the main contender for the throne.
Aymond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell) is the second son of Alicenta Hightower and King Viserys. Dreams of becoming a dragon rider; at the end of the first season, he accidentally kills his cousin, Rhaenyra’s son.
Helaine Targaryen (Fia Saban) – Daughter of Alicenta and King Viserys, who is forcibly married off to her own brother Aegon to strengthen the bloodline. Loves insects, is noted for her enigmatic speeches, and probably has the gift of foresight.
Corlis Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) – One of the most powerful lords in Westeros, father of Rhaenyra’s first husband and grandfather of the presumed heirs to the throne. Rumours of his death arose in the final episodes of the first season, but he managed to return.
Rhaenys Velaryon (Eve Best) – wife of Corlis Velaryon and aunt of Rhaenyra Targaryen. Could have become queen in place of Viserys, but met resistance from the lords.
